they should still win this series even without muzzin. lets compare this D core to the 2018 leafs for example.

Rielly = Rielly (not much to say there)
Ceci = Zaitsev (pretty much)
Barrie = Gardiner (again, similar)
Holl = Hainsey (Hainsey played way more minutes, but Holl is probably more effective in his role tbh so its a close call)
Dermott > Dermott (hes probably better now)
Sandin > Polok (ill give the edge to the young guy)

honestly its not an AWFUL d core and if a similar D core with weaker forwards could push boston to game 7, I think this leafs team should still be able to handle Columbus. They would need to get muzz back next series though or they're in trouble against Washington/Tampa/Boston/Philly
