I don't really see there being a smart situation to move on from Sanheim. He's a very young player, already a beast of a 2nd pairing defense-man, and has high end top pairing upside. In Philly's current situation I would only trade him if a star was coming back in the return package (not saying it would be 1 for 1, but absolutely no reason to move on from him for equal or lesser assets).

Agree, but we are stacked at LD and i'd rather deal from a position of strength than dump Ghost somewhere for nothing. Concerned about the right side D if/when Braun and Niskanen are gone. I was curious to see what the best offer we could get would be. So far, underwhelming.

Maybe he does, I thought he was strickly LW. Flyers have Vorachek, Koneckny, Patrick, Allison, and Aube-Kubal at RW. I imagine they will be targeting a 3RW in free agency if Patrick is not healthy. If they trade Sanheim, they will need a replacement for him unless Ghost bounces back. Personally, I can't see them trading Sanheim while they are a contender.

They are stacked at RW too. Doesn't make sense for the Flyers.
