The Kubalik-Toews-Saad line looked fine so I would keep that. The Debrincat-Dach-Kane generated a couple goals so I think that one probably stays as well. That leaves Nylander-Strome-Caggs. Highmore took a couple absolutely brutal falls into the boards at some points, so I wouldnt be surprised if they put Hagel in for him for a game.

They're definitely not out of it. I don't think the box score accurately portrays how well they played last night. They don't look like a 12 seed; they look like they belong.

I’d keep the Kubalik/Toews/Saad and Highmore/Kampf/Carpenter lines together. I’d bump up DeBrincat to the second line with Strome and Kane, the Hawks need a line that can be dangerous each shift. Dach’s line has been tasked with shutting down Draisaitl and he’s done well so far. Dach and Caggiula should remain together, but I would be hesitant to put Nylander there, that line needs to be defensively responsible. Maybe try one of the scratches?

I personally think not having Caggs hurt us a lot more then what it seemed.
