Yeah Gally is a fan favorite for sure and not just Habs fans many other teams fans love Gally but hate that he isn't on their team lol. I think the deal on paper makes sense but unfortunately Gally may not be on the same elite level as McDavid but he has as much value with the organization as McDavid has with the Oilers.

I think you're selling low on DeAngelo but I will admit that it's more because I think Lindell is overrated

Thats a stretch to say he has that much value to the organization. They may not want to part with him but I am sure they would not go anywhere near the same lengths as Edmonton will to ensure he never plays for another organization.
