https://www.vaxjolakers.se/artikel/duv3akd9v-4af7d/welcome-jack-drury well, there's the first domino to fall. after the Ivy League said they were cancelling all fall sports for 2020, Jack Drury (#48 overall to the Hurricanes in 2018; 20 G, 39 P in 28 GP last season) jumped ship and signed a 1-year contract with Växjö in the SHL.

i wonder how many others might follow suit, and who.

wow. I was really surprised when I saw that article, but now that I think about it, it really isn’t that surprising. If I was a ECAC player, I would for sure be looking at Europe as an option. And for who else might go, I have no doubt high-scoring guys like Harvard’s Nick Abruzzese and high-end prospects like Yale’s Curtis Hall will go. I also find Sweden and Finland as more viable options because they’re obviously closer than the KHL or DEL and already have a number of North American guys there.
