Currently playing 3C in the bubble while Stamkos is out since Palat has went to the 1st line and Johnson has moved to 2nd line.

I have said on here before when Stamkos went down Gourde moved to the 3rd line C and scored 11 points in the final 16 games getting about 14-15 min a night.

If you watch the Lightning play everyday like I have Gourde is not a negative player like so many on here claim. Just right now circumstances of the team dynamic have him playing in a checking role 2 way game which he is good at and he is not needed as much for his scoring.
