I’m not sure Hall is a good idea. We do kinda need some money for extensions unless you’re playing on letting Jones, Korpisalo and Merzlinkins go in 2 years or are you going to crush the depth of the team to make this work?

Z and Jones along with Elvis can easily get signed without Dubinksy, Foligno, Murray and, Wennberg making as much as they do now. Along with the cap being raised most likely. So yes Hall is a good idea and I'm not planning on letting the three players you listed above go. Thank you.

What cap being raised? The league said there would likely be a freeze in the cap for 3 years so they don’t have to lower it next year.

Dubinsky is LTIR so he doesn’t count vs the cap anyways. I can agree on Wennberg being bought out and gone, Folingo takes a pay cut and Murray is gone. I still don’t know if that’s enough to get Jones, Werenski, Merzlinkins(or Korpisalo) Texier, Bjorkstrand, Nuttivaara, Gavrikov, Foudy, Bremstrom, Peeke, Robinson and Jenner all resigned. That’s a lot of players and some of those contract will be pretty big. Idk of Hall is worth killing the depth over. We’ve never been successful as a 1 line team.
