They could but they shouldn't.

Yeah Drysdale is definitely the better D of the two but I could see them wanting a LHD with Seider in the system already. Then again I don't know too too much about DET and their prospect pool so I really don't know haha

Drysdale and Schneider are the better defenseman why would Detroit pass on those 2. Sure there is a need for a solid LD but detroit can use Hronek and trade for a guy like Sergechev as both teams get solid defenseman who fit their needs.

I would be most shocked if they took him at 4. If they do think he is BPA, they should trade back, as that doesn't seem to be close to the consensus.

Detroit would take Drysdale over Sanderson, There's absolutely nothing linking Detroit to Sanderson.
