I don't think it's that unbalanced... Mitts and Pilut have very little value, and assuming this team is a playoff bubble that pick is somewhere between 15 and 20. Maybe it should be lotto protected but I think its a relatively fair deal.

Tierney isn’t worth that much. The Sabres do not need to bribe Ottawa to take Okposo. They can wait until the expansion draft and bribe Seattle to take him instead. Then he isn’t in the division to hurt them. I also do not want Shaw that badly.

Very much disagree that a team like buf should be sending a first to rid a contract. Especially someone who is very well respected. That is a bad look. And again trading mitts for a 3c is in bad taste. Just bet on mitts potential cause you're gonna be kicking rocks when he explodes and is a dynamic top 6 forward that we needed.
