Inspite of above people saying the wings deal is bad for the Rangers. I don't like it from a RedWings perspective. Grewe is a super intruiging prospect, who is coming to Saginaw next year, as he was getting screwed for ice time in the SHL. He's potentially a great prospect, but for that reason his value is at an all time low. Crawley was playing in the coast last year, not sure why he's included, doesn't seem like he has any value.
So its basically Georgiev and Smith for Grewe. You should probably keep Georgiev, just package up different assets to get rid of Smith. Couple picks/prospects. (before anyone tries to argue he has value to Detroit as a D, nope, we know exactly what he is, and given that he was playing forward on your 4th line at times, so do the Rangers.)

That's an interesting ANA trade, at first I was like no way, Getting Lias and Hajek combined have less value to the Ducks than the second lol, but the first is interesting

Lias has basically no value so its like hajek later of the 2 firsts for comtois and a second so what would be changed just getting ideas

See I figured it was closer then everyone is complaining about smith is a horrible contract but its one year i figured it would need more on the rangers side not the otherway around but i guess if both sides dont think its enough then its a viable deal

Thats the challenge of involving prospects and/or goalies on this site. Valuing them is really hard, and there isn't a precedent. You can look to the past for trades where picks are leveraged for almost anything. In this case Wings fans will know Grewe as a rat **** to play against, that needs some ice time to thrive, Rangers fans will see a disappointing stint in the SHL (likely without the context of ice time, 3-4 min per game) and working out value becomes very hard. Its a limitation of fans discussing trades.

Exactly see i like grewe im a rangers fan but i think hes the type of player that could be a solid bottom 6 fwd who has a knack for getting under someones skin drawing penalties and being overall a solid player

As a wings fan he has got a serious Tyler Bertuzzi vibe about him, which is great if he runs with it. If he bolts himself alongside Cole Perfetti next year in Saginaw he should have a great season.

I saw him as a solid 3rd liner with attitude however u being a wings fan u have a better understanding of him. Then again he reminds me of wilson from wsh who with great linemates puts of 40ish points either way they are worth more to a team then just point totals which is y i would try to snag him early hence this proposal
