He wasn’t well know by anyone until recently. He signed a deal with Laval in 2018, and impressed by being probably their best player (54 points in 74 games). He signed an NHL contract after that season. He was probably the 15th or 16th best forward at training camp, and he probably would have been called up if he didn’t get what was thought to be a season ending injury in December. He won’t be anything special, but he’s a solid depth/4th line player.

So here are the possible matchups in the first round. I’ll update this as the day goes on.

0-0 after 2 in the habs game. And the Pens have no business being in this game. Montreal has absolutely dominated them. The pens have had max. 3 scoring chances in the whole game. Perfect game by the habs so far (other than the PP, which continues to be horrible).

I haven't been watching the game (i'm kind of busy right now) but maybe i'll watch the end if I have time.

What an amazing game. The Pens did get a few more chances in the 3rd, but Lehky scores the winner. Carey was great for the few chances he did have to stop. On to Tampa or Philly.
