he actively loved playing in Toronto and never gave a hoot what people said about him, so probably that reason.

You know Kapanen and Kessel and had identical offensive stats last season. So the Leafs keep Kapanen and Johnsson for the same cap hit as Kessel. Don't think Kessel's minus 21 will endear himself to any NHL team.
