The Hurricanes are going up the board to select Seth Jarvis as he won't be there at pick 19 and with two seconds they can afford to move up. | 21 | | | *New Jersey from Ottawa. Jersey dropped in the draft to acquire much needed second rounders and Ottawa's offer was hard to refuse. They end up taking one of the best (If not the best) skater in the draft, Perreault's just gliding on the ice and paired to his high hockey IQ he could easily become a top six winger. He'll need to work overtime on his defensive awareness before coming to the big league. | |
| 22 |  | - | Dallas could have a spot waiting for Barron in the coming years behing Klingberg and he could become an important part of that defense! There's no big knock on his game other than having a weak 3rd junior year but considering Halifax lost lots of great players it's understandable. | |

He's a nice gamble considering that skill wise he'd be a top 15 pick this year but only time will tell if he can adjust his game to an NHL size rink, we'll see in a couple years down the road. | |

O'Rourke projects to become a minute muncher number 2-3 defenseman in the NHL with his defensive awareness and mobility being his best assets he has to give. Montreal may not look to add centers in this draft but Finley's special and trading up to grab him is worth it. He isn't going to be the player to get pucks out of the corner but once on his stick he'll know what to do with it. He needs to trust his repaired knee and work to become a better skater. | |
| 81 | | | Kings going BPA here with Berard still there they get a very good middle six prospect to add to the pool. The most dynamic player of the USDP this year. | |

As it stands now Pashin would project to be a third liner with PP minutes but if he can become less of a liability in his own zone he could become a top six winger. | 84 | | | Long-term project with middle six upside. Savoie has an elite shot and good IQ but needs to work his defensive hiccups where he's seen flying out of the zone way too early. | |

| 93 | | - | To close out the third round -and also my mock draft- the Boston Bruins selects Wyatt Kaiser a transitional defender who doesn't shine under the lights but will make good first passes and has a excellent flair to control the play from the point.
