@Andymoog Philly wouldn't do this because Carey Price's deal is horrendous. Also, Couturier is on one of the best value deals in the entire NHL. Also, Konecny is super good and young.

So yeah, Philly gets smoked in this trade. Max Domi isn't that great and Lehkonen regressed this year.

Add in the 1st round pick and... yeah dude, just not a good look. Are you a Habs fan? Or are you valuring Price that highly?

I am a habs fan and many others already commented how bad this trade is so not every Habs fan overvalues Price. Besides that MB who IS the GM of the Habs overvalues Price and I could see him replying with something like this if he received a call about Price's availability. He already said at the deadline that he will not take calls on Price or Weber that he would just hang up. This enraged some habs fans because as a GM it's your job to improve the team by any means available

Philly already has their goalie. Hart is better than Price, at least right now.
