Why rush the rebuild? signing AP for that long is not the right move. We can keep Silf, call up Stolarz and Milano wont get more than Terry on a one year deal, if he only signs for one year he wont get over 1M

That contract is an anchor 3 years from now and signing him doesnt make us Cup contenders

I was looking to do Pietro to ANA, but I couldn't figure out who to move to make it work. This is a GREAT deal for both team. I think Thompson could potentially blossom into a middle six forward, maybe Hutton rebounds after a change of scenery, plus the 1st Rounder. Then, BUF gets the top six wing that they're desperately looking for. Really good stuff!

Pietrangelo isn't getting 11 AAV from anywhere on a flat cap. I think 9.5 is probably the highest offer conceivable

I think they'd be a fringe playoff team, but the lack of offense really worries me. Lots of players that *could* breakout (Zegras, Steel, etc.), but everything would have to go right.

I don't know about $11/year...There's not a lot of teams that can offer that.

Based off the first comment I’m assuming the original trade was a Henrique trade? That’s who would be traded if the traded a fwd. Silfverberg is the Ducks best fwd right now. But if they signed Pietrangelo I would almost guarantee Manson would be moved. He has value. His cap hit is a decent number and teams can always use RHD.

That’s my concern with trading Henrique or any of the forwards they already have. Pietrangelo will help with the offense, but yeah, they need time for their prospects to develop. That’s why I’m a little unsure of how much Pietrangelo fits with Anaheim
