I honestly don't think that trade makes sense for either team. Vancouver are retaining so much that it doesn't really help them much.

The Flames give up a 4th round pick for a meh player. I think they rather use the roster spot for a young player.

Looks good imo, the Sutter trade is whatever, if Calgary wants a depth forward for $2.375 million Im sure Vancouver would oblige, even if they’re retaining, although it might be hard for Calgary to build healthy scratches into their roster with his cap hit there.

My bigger concern in the Saad trade. I’m not a big Rittich fan tbh and he’s also a UFA next offseason. Hawks probably take a lower pick if it means getting an actual prospect back for Saad.
