Pius Suter is a 24 year old Swiss free agent centre who said he wants to come over to the NHL and I feel like he could be a great fit on the Leafs

First off, the Leafs have a history of signing random European free agents (Mikheyev, Zaitsev, Ozhiganov, Barabanov and Lehtonen) Yes, the first 4 share an agent in the great Dan Milstein, but either way, Kyle Dubas and his management staff have their ways of bringing the players over to Toronto.

Suter said he wants to join a contending team. Though the Leafs arent exactly a contender right now, they will be a great team for many years and he fits their timeline perfectly.

It also helps that he played with Auston Matthews and Denis Malgin on the ZSC Lions of the NL

Signing Suter and Barabanov makes Kerfoot abd Kapanen expendible.

If the Blues can afford to re-sign Pietrangelo and Dunn, they may have to move Parayko. Parayko just fits the Leafs perfectly. Hes a right handed defenseman whos great defensively and has a cannon. He is the perfect partner for Rielly.

Muzzin-Weegar can be one of the league's best shut down pairs while still being above average offensively.

The "Dermotthollogist" as people like to call it was the Leafs top pair for a short stretch this season when Reilly, Muzzin and Ceci were all out because of injuries. Needless to say, they played great in that role and their chemistry goes back to the AHL when they won the Calder cup together.
