Nylander has more skill than Domi for sure but I would take 10 Domi's over 1 Nylander any day! Domi puts in 110% effort every shift Nylander often doesn't backcheck we already have Drouin for that!

Like I said Nylander has more skill no doubt about it but even Leaf fans criticize his lack of effort and aversion to back checking on a daily basis. Droiun is also like that! Domi on the other hand is always fighting for pucks in the corners and back checks with 110% of his abilities. Like I said though I would rather have 10 guys skating their A** off than one guy who skates to the bench on the back check and avoids the dirty areas like the plague! Like I said before we already have Drouin for that we don't need Nylander to do it as well!

I watch Leaf games on a regular basis, Thanks! In fact I get to see more Leafs games in a season than I do Habs because I live and work in the GTA

Then you should know that Nylander is great on forecheck and regularly plays very good defensive game and puts in 110% effort every time. He might not be hitting guys on the walls, but that does not mean he does not put in the effort.

Nylander is too busy checking out his hair in a mirror on the the bench to get serious about playing hockey....and when he is on the ice he's too afraid of physical contract might damage his pretty boy face. Trust me Hab fans, you don't want that diva.

Calm down, Nylander is good on a monster team. But no domi isn’t better than nylander and no he doesn’t give it 110% every shift ,that’s Gallagher. One game domi is (exaggerated obviously) mcdavid the next Charles huddon is better

Let's agree to disagree about his forecheck and defensive abilities, I see Nylander as having many of the same issues as Drouin both offensively and defensively. Nylander is by no means as bad as Drouin defensively but Domi is much better than the 2 of them. Nylander has great vision and puts himself in great positions offensively so as to not have to dig pucks out of the corners and fight along the wall but I also think if Nylander were to go to the dirty areas in front of the net a bit more to bury more dirty goals. He may fight for a scoring title if he did that. Also I have seen on many occasions he either is the last guy up the ice on the back check (with his speed he should never be the last guy up ice) or he changes at inopportune times. He doesn't have to hit everything in sight or be the first guy back after a turnover but at least try and get back! I will admit he did do a better job this last season at getting back than he did in previous years but there were still times when he was just out for a leisurely skate back.

I never once said Domi was better than Nylander I said I would rather have a player who played his A** off than a guy like Nylander or Drouin who coast most of the time, picking when they want to play hard. If either Drouin or Nylander skated back hard or put in half the effort of Domi or Gallagher they would both actually be quite hard to play against.

Didn't Nylander lead the league this season in goals from the dirty area in front of the net? If not he was close. It is almost like you have zero idea about the player you are talking about.

He has most goals from net-front area in the league or something. He goes to dirty areas and is winning those battles regularly.

Really! It does not seem like that when watching the games! It seems like he is scores more using his wicked shot from around the top of the circles more than digging a puck out of a pile and burying it. Perhaps that is just because he has such a wicked shot that it stands out more.

Lol just awful opinions all around from you. Nylander is ranked amongst the top when it comes to goals and chances from in front of the net. Imagine thinking max Domi is better.

Perhaps cause I am a Habs fan and care more about them. Only reason I even keep track of the Leafs is cause they were my late fathers favorite team and he just passed 2 years ago.
