Sabres have zero interest in Loui Erickson let alone giving up an asset to acquire him.

value-wise I think this is one of the best Boeser trades ive seen posted. Im curious to hear MIN fans opinions on it though - I know they would ideally be looking for a C instead of a RW but they also really need right shot forwards

Tough look when an organization considers Miller an “asset”.

Why would it make sense for anyone to want a 34 year old $6 million dollar fringe NHL player, and then give up a RHD who is cheap and can play top 4 mins?

He would be top 4

He would be top 4 on Vancouver next year and definitely in the top 6 next year. Was top 4 on a Stanley cup finals team two years ago. This is not Jordie Benn we are talking about here. His advanced numbers are much better than Tyler Myers throughout his career

I'd love Boeser but if we're trading Dumba it has to be for a center. We do need right shot forwards but if we made this trade then our wingers are Fiala, Boeser, Kaprizov, Parise, Zuccarello, Kunin, Donato, Greenway, Foligno, and Hartman. Donato, Greenway, and Kunin all need to be in the top 9 and we can't even make that happen before we make this trade. It just puts us in a weird spot and doesn't give any of our young guys the development time they need. Plus, who the heck is passing Boeser the puck? Victor Rask?

I just don't really see a fit for us with Boeser unless we're moving a pick (like Pittsburgh's) and a great prospect like Boldy or Beckman along with one of Donato or Greenway and make a subsequent move for a playmaking center. Don't think the Canucks go for that, though.

Completely understandable. A center would be a much better trade target for you guys

Yeah idk what’s worse, that Miller is an asset, or Trouba’s contract. My guess that looks worse then Skinners in a year.

Guy - can't wait to see this age. Between Skinner and Okposo, Buffalo is going to be scrapping the bottle of the barrel in flat cap era.
Trouba will be just fine now that Ruff is gone...

If you say so. Okposo is bad sure, Skinner had a stretch of 20 bad games, otherwise was just fine. Not saying he’s worth 9M, but Trouba ain’t worth 8M for just as long either
