Dube isn’t moving unless he’s involved in a massive deal for an elite top line player. I’m all for striking a deal with CLB for Anderson, but only if it includes some combination of the following pieces: 2nd round pick, Bennett, Kylington, Jankowski, B prospect.

Gaudreau deal is trash for Calgary, Palmieri wont waive to play in Canada. All Canadian teams are on his no trade list. Both NJ and Columbus deals are bad.

Don't want to give up Dube for Anderson. Dillon was just coming into his own and has lots of potential plus he's on an ELC and cheap still. Flames need to have some ELCs on their roster with potential to outperform them.

Also, Anderson is coming off a 1 goal season, his QO is $2.1 million. He's not getting $4 million AAV on a multi year deal from anyone IMO.

If the Flames trade Johnny I highly doubt they weigh down his value by attaching Lucic. I know that's a wet dream for lots of fans out there, but a smart GM isn't going to do that.

Columbus doesn’t want to and doesn’t have to trade Anderson. What you’re offering doesn’t do anything for Columbus to consider trading him for. At least Dube is a center who could be a 2nd line center.

I understand that but the problem is Bennett, Kylington, and Jankowski are the last things we need right now and a Josh Anderson returning to his form for the three seasons leading up to 19-20 is probably our biggest need.

I'm almost to the point where I don't care anymore and would just proclaim any deal involving Bennett-to-CBJ to be an automatic fail.
