They don't need Lucic gone to bring in Toffoli, they just don't bring back a 4m 3rd pair guy

That trade will never happen, it would be easier if lucic lifts his trade/movement clause and Seatle hopefully picks him up. Flames need help in goal and on defense. I doubt it that both Brodie and or Hamonic, will be re-signed next year. It's a blow for sure if they can't bring in at least another RD. Hopefully Treliving can make something happen. Depending on how the Flames perform in the playoffs, we'll probably see one or two forwards on the trade block.
