Hertl Burns

Description
They say buffalo would want a #1 center for sure back. Hertl is not that, but get a somewhat hefty haul back assuming Jonathan Dahlen can translate his points from Europe to the NHL, and actually plays in North America. Another 1st pick? I’m on board for that. But this in general is highly unlikely just interested how it could work.
Burns and hertl agreeing to go to Buffalo!? Well let’s pretend they do! Just simply interested in Jack on the Sharks and how each team would look. Burns and Russell bring a bit of grit to the defense. Older and could help compliment this d squad. Cozens would have to bail this team out and maybe whomever they take this year. Not sure how long Middlestadt will stick around. Was going to make a Montour or Miller trade but, play em another year and trade one next year or at the deadline, If they suck again. may as well shed a couple guys at the deadline and make the offseason easy.
Honestly this team would most likely miss the playoffs. But maybe if these guys strapped down they could squeeze in. With the likes of Cozens and the d pool. I feel this team may be able to shake off the loss of Eichel. All forwards coming back have a lot of years to give.

Buffalo loves disasters and disappointments! Lol.
Looking at it again I’d be keeping risto and trading miller.
Disaster? I hear Cozens is the beez knees. Hertl is only 26, true and Dahlén are 22 and two first picks. Your getting some NHL players here. By no means am I saying this is possible. Burns is a perfect example of that. He’s not going to play in buffalo...

Hahah ya that wouldn’t surprise me lol. Reinhart being a number1 center! Hahaha don’t even know why I gave him $6. The guys plays a half a year. I gave Montour lots cuz I believe in him. I wasn’t taking this too seriously so chill, just want to thank cap friendly for being able to really help understand how difficult making trades truly is. Especially star players!

    what are you talking about?

he has played 5 full seasons and has put up 4 20 goal seasons (his lowest ever is 17), he has put up 43, 47, 50, 65 and 50 (season ended due to global pandemic with 13 games left) points. He plays in all situations. nice try.

He get 13 points in 40 games then gets 40 in 40. He’s got potential, in all reality though $6 is good comparing around the league. How is he in the playoffs? I want him to really prove who he is the next two years then I’ll give him what he wants

Reinhart started slow his first 2 seasons in the first half and came on late. Since then he has been much more consistent and dry spells have been much shorter. This is a common trend for most young players in the league. Consistency grows over time

No we dont. What a daft and ignorant comment. And hertl is a prime example is a poster boy example of someone who only plays half the season, seeing that he is always hurt.

This is terrible for both teams! Sharks need a good core of young players and prospects, another gigantic contract kills any chance of depth and puta us in a pathetic spiral
Of mediocrity, and buffalo is 2-3 years from cup contention if they are smart so this would be stupid for them beyond the arguement of his true worth and sorry buffalo his 10 mil contract makes him worth a lot less than you think he is but still very value able

Well this was an unnecessary comment. Just because one person makes a bad trade for a California team doesn’t mean the state shouldn’t have hockey. Maybe buffalo can learn a few things from them actually. It’s been a rough 9 years I’ve heard!
