Description
- Tempt Arizona with some massive cap savings; Dvorak holds 2C until Cozens is ready
- Boston might need to move Grz for picks to get Krug and DeBrusk under contract
- The jets need D-men and Roslovic is stuck down on their depth chart
- Another minor pick or prospect could be added to get the Sens to take the deal. Maybe after Okposo's signing bonus is paid
- Johansson, Anisimov, Grabner, and Raanta all come off the cap at the end of season allowing the money to be diverted to raises for the young d-men; the young forward prospects then slot into the bottom six
- Sabres get to maintain first and second round picks for next couple of drafts

Dear Lord this is Horrid
Arizona Breaks the phone to Buffalo, That Trade is Garbage for them, Dvorak Alone is almost worth the same value as the entire package, then you add Raanta and Grabner to the trade...
Winnipeg Declines FAST
If Mylnyks gonna saves money than sure
And The Boston Trade Bruins run....Buffalo declines

Those trades aren't happening. The reason why people are trading the 1st is to get some of these trades to go through.

For example the price to move Okposo is a 1st at the very minimum. Ottawa doesn't even take that trade if you retain 3M.

No one accepts. Especially not AZ and youre not even close. Dvorak is big for them and will require a 1st and solid prospect minimum

Grz shouldn't cost much to sign (although your offer tk him is a low ball on 5yrs). 2nd isn't terrible, but Bruins are in win now mode and futures doesn't help them.

I mean, yeah, it's not an amazing offer by any standard. But Arizona have the worst cap in the league going into minimum 2 years of flat cap. The deal gives them at least 10 mil in cap space, allowing them to sign Hall. Most likely they do hang up the phone, but if they intend to keep Hall they'll have to make sacrifices somewhere

I only really thought this would be a possibility if resigning Krug and DeBrusk used up the cap space and didn't leave enough for Grz - i personally hope the Bs get to sign all three

He is, but would they give him up if it meant fixing their cap problems and allowing them to sign Hall?

No. They would rather keep Dvorak. He is a more important piece and he is on a team friendly contract
The center they would be looking to move for cap is Stepan

Fair point, though i think teams will be wise to the cap situation and will want some sort of sweetener to take Stepan. I'm not sure moving him will clear enough room to sign Hall and complete the roster. They'll likely need to make a couple of moves

I am sure they will but Dvorak will not be the sweetener

It’s a ridiculously easy no from boston. What could possibly make you think the bruins aren’t the ones declining that?

Bruins would take it on the value and the fact that they may need to leave him unprotected. But they are also tryna win this year and next so maybe not?
Idk good trade tho

I doubt it really. Theyd much rather trade Rantaa and Demers to make room for Hall. They have solid D prospects waiting and Hill.
