I think Van would get better offers if they do actually shop Boeser. He’s on a really good deal for the next 2 years and expires as and RFA.

Lily is not a meh prospect. He is an NHL ready RHD that will be in the 1st or 2nd pairing. Kap is a middle 6 forward with elite speed and very good in his own zone. Will either of them replace Boeser’s production? Not a chance. But they will be core members of the Canucks for years to come.

How does that make any sense when you guys need the cap relief? To resign both Markstrom and Toffoli.
