Little too much for Kilhorn with Tampa needed to shed cap

Not enough for Raanta, need something of substance

Way too much for Kharia, Simek is needed for the Sharks and Gambrell is already an overpayment

Tampa agrees to this trade, but I believe San Jose can drop the 3rd and likely get it done for True+TBL 1st unless there's a considerable bidding war. If Tampa is moving both here, the lowest Brisebois likely takes would be True+SJ 2020 2nd, but the TBL 1st+True is also a reasonable offer.

My thought with Raanta is there is no space for him. Coyotes want to keep Kuemper long term and they have high hopes for Hill. Considering the ufa market for goalies this summer AZ will have a relatively difficult time finding a trade partner for him.

Yeah i would drop the 3rd for Killorn and Paquette.

I am a big fan of Simek but he is likely going to be exposed for Seattle and has an agreeable contract minus the term. Pasichnuk and Knyzhov are both potentially ready for the NHL. Gambrell has had his chances in SJ and has not looked great. Certainly better last season but i think a new team could do him well.

Khaira for Gambrell and the Shark's 2022 4th round pick.

San Jose gets the more experienced, bigger, tougher, more physical, and more versatile player that happens to be a very effective penalty killer and decent pugilist. Edmonton gets a right-handed, undersized depth forward who has not been able to translate minor league success to the NHL and can clear $1,200,00 in cap space if Gambrell is assigned to Bakersfield. The Oilers have the draft pick as compensation if another GM claims Gambrell through waivers.

Correct. Sharks need a tough guy like Khaira so Kane can stay out of the box and play a little more hockey. Plus Jujhar can kill penalties which the sharks need after losing Melker and Goodrow. I like the deal.
