The same injury happened to Nemeth a couple years ago, and he was never the same player. It's kind of a "go prove it" contract. See if he can do it again. If so, I would have no problem giving him more.

Highly unlikely it would even be proposed from Dallas. Leafs win that trade hands down and its not even close.

@MMBzFan It's more of a salary dump for Dallas. Just thought about similar size, and that was Chara, who might need a replacement soon. But like I said, just a simple salary dump. Don't really care where he goes.

As of right now, Dallas has 2 NHL capable defensemen; John Klingberg & Stephen Johns. They don’t have a single RD prospect in their system that even has NHL potential. Yes they need offense, but they need a legitimate top-4 RD just as bad.

With Heiskanen and Klingberg though you really just need two average dmen to play with them. Lindell is young and Stephen's is average, add Harley coming up and I dont see as much as much desperation on d as they do on forward.
