Raanta is good, but MTL is paying price $10.5M so it's unlikely they re-sign Raanta.
Montreal is giving up Tatar who lead the team with 61 pts in 68 games, a pace of 73 pts. For reference, ARZ leading scorer had 45 pts and Tatar even scored at a higher rate than Taylor Hall.
What does montreal get out of this trade? Is it really worth trading your leading scorer for a backup goalie?
Definitely not, this trade is pretty atrocious, for MTL at least.
