Domi I would try for 6 yrs 6.5 mill

Gallagher is the one that I think will take a discount if you go longer term, so I could see a 7 yr 6 million deal

Danault I think takes less to stay to so 6 yrs 6 million

Domi has cracked the 50 point mark 2/5 years hes played. I dont think that hes worth 6.5. More around the 5 million range in my opinion.

I would struggle to pay Danault so much money. Is he a 2C or 3C? Because he doesn't generate enough offence to be 2C, and 6mil/yr is too much for 3C. The most I'd pay Danault is 5M.
I agree with TomasTataaaar, Domi is not worth more than 5M right now. But I don't see him signing 5M long term yet, thus I figured 2yrs was acceptable

People who are less productive have made more then that unfortunately, with a flat cap I think he will want shorter term for 5 million but longer term will be over 6 million

Danault is a high quality 2C, there's no doubting that. He is a 50 point center who is dominate defensively and drives play 5 on 5 better then 90% of centers in the league. Kevin Hayes is a worst center and got over 7 million over 7 years because Philly desperately wanted to keep him, that would be Danaults starting point of he wanted to take a team to the cleaners but he has family in MTL, it was his favorite team and wants to stay so discount at 6 million would be a steal

I like it.
Do we keep Tatar and Petry in this world?
I also would push hard for a Domi bridge deal.

Personally I'd trade Tatar and Petry next season (if trade deadline and playoffs is as per normal).
I would also put Mete on the block, but hey...

Caufield replaces Tatar and Romanov replaces Petry. We don’t have room for Mete.

I like the Danault signing a lot, but I think you trade Petry, Domi. Resign Tatar if you can get him for 3/4 at 5.5 or so. And finally (people gonna hate this) let Gally walk after this year. I think forwards are worth 1m per 10 points or so with exception to Selky like defense. Gally is a 5m dollar guy who will be trending down, who will want like 7-7.5. I know heart and soul type of guy but the bottom line is this team can't score. Need some kind of change.

Trade Domi and let Gally walk the year after? Yes we need some change because we don't score much, but I don't think the answer is to get rid of your highest goal scorer.
I definitely agree Gally will be trending down, I hope to god we don't sign him beyond 6 years. BUTTT, if we can support Gally with a better C than Danault frown Gally can do more.
I hate to be ripping on Danault here, but he's not a number 1C, and I disagree with others who think he is a strong 2C. He doesn't do enough offensively. But Danault is a great asset to the team.
