You should get more for Dermott, add a 3rd at least

21 man rosters really don't work. Rather keep two Dman Dermot and Liljegren at about 2.6m then obtaining just one at 3.5m. Brooks and Barbanov in the top 12 and Engvall at 3C, probably more wishful thinking than practical.

This is another one of these suggestions where the centre depth just drops off a cliff, the D core has not dramatically improved and there is STILL no cap space.

This group has not improved enough as you have it here to ever consider these trades IMO.

I think that in most cases people are trying to cut some salary. The entire time ignoring the fact that there is an excess of similar salaries on the wings. (A position of clear and obvious depth for this organization), and a complete lack of NHL quality centre depth.

I too shake my head every time I see these suggestions.

As an Oiler fan, i like the idea of getting Kerfoot. My issue with the trade is I don't think they'd want to lose soooo many draft picks. Also, I don't know if they can take on the full 3.5 million each year without giving a contract back in return. What about Chaisson and get rid of a third round pick?
