The main 3 issues boston is going to face over the next 2 years are the following

1) Long term replacement for Chara. If it's not Krug in the LHD role who is it

2) Krejci contract. If he walks in 2021, do you want Studnicka a 2C into the fire?

3) Long term goalie. Rask is good, but as he ages, you need a backup since Halak is getting towards the end of his career

they were the 8th best team in terms of scoring this year. one line doesnt do that

The 1st line scored 107 of the team's 227 goals, or 47%. And that's not counting defenseman scoring while those guys were on the ice either.

- only 1 other forward with 40+ points (43)
- only 3 other forwards with 10+ goals (19, 16, 13)

You won't find another contender that has numbers like that.

Besides, if you look at their top forwards by points you'll find that many of their primary and secondary offensive players are aging out:

2. Marchand is 32
3. Bergeron is 35 this month
4. Krejci is 34
5. Coyle is 28

Since this mock is talking about the playoffs 2 years from now, even Coyle will be past his prime. The other guys well past. Boston will remain a playoff team for the next couple of years, but beyond that I'm not so confident.

Not sure if ive mentioned this previously, but you know you can block people right? Actually im pretty sure i have.

This resolves all your problems.

As for more moderation, i agree, ive already mentioned it to the admins. With that said, more moderators will not change the fact that if you dont like some posters, you can literally make it so you dont have to see anything from them anymore...... If you continue to go on without doing so, its on you. No one is breaking any rules by thinking you are a duplicate account.

So once again, block the user and move on. Problem solved.

Again, i can block him yes. But that doesnt mean he will be gone. Him and bcarlo25 WILL call more people names, him and bcarlo25 WILL call more people "backup accounts"

Why did I get a warning for calling someone a "moron", why didnt they just block me?

You get my point dude. I aint here to fight anyone, im just here to be friendly with people and have a good time. But some people arent here for that, and that is what discipline is used for.

So yes, I CAN block them, but why not just punish them for poor behavior?

I Really do appreciate you, you are being dragged into BS and its not fair of them to do that to us

The Bruins have a high floor once Bergeron/Krejci age out, but their ceiling past 2021 isn't that high IMO.

Only 1 forward not on the 1st line managed more than 40 points this season: Krejci with 43.

It's a 1-line team offensively.

First, take the points per game, not only pts total especially in a shortened season (43 pts in 61 GP; pace of 58/82 for Krejci) with one winger for 50% of the year.

Can admit they heavily rely on first line for offense but one-line team, definitely not. Got Kase and Ritchie so now the team is complete (or so) and need to see how they do with them. Bjork and especially Coyle, did every little thing except for the points total they should have with the way they have been playing. DeBrusk was inconsistent but still produced.

Quoting: shmoeman
they won the presidents trophy a year after making it to the cup, are you brain dead? theyre clearly more than a one line team

Bruins are one of the best, if not the best defensive team in the league so even though they don't get that much of production (offensively), they can defend and get the job done. It's not all about offense, you need defense in NHL hockey.

Would like more production (G & Pts) but the W is the most important thing, so even though it's a 1-0 game, rather that than a 8-7 win.

The Bruins are the best defensive team in the NHL. Some of that is based on goaltending, some of that is based on their system and crazy depth on the back end. That wont go away when Chara retires, if anything it will allow McAvoy to get more offense in

Charlie McAvoy- 22
Brandon Carlo- 23
David Pastrnak- 24
Jake Debrusk- 23
Ondrej Kase- 24

The Bruins will be just fine.

I just blocked that gofnut guy. Never imagined someone from the same fan base as me could be so intolerable.

I was blown away how someone can think they are so right and literally post on everyone's ACGM acting like he knows everything about there team and has literally 0 ACGMs. Most of the time he was clearly wrong that's the funny part.

Until it happens im not going to say anything. Tom brady still playing QB pretty effectively at 43. Marchand has shown no signs of slowing down. Bergeron has a groin issue (has had it for years now...) and they are trying to keep him as healthy as possible for when the games really matter. This team is one of the best defensive teams in the league. Unless carlo, mcavoy, debrusk decide to just leave... I dont see how they cant be contenders.

Defensive depth? Lol. Chara will retire and Krug might not resign. After that you're left with 2 LD rookies...

Tom Brady plays a completely different sport and as long as he can throw, he'll always be effective. It's a little different in hockey bud.

Those two rookies would probably have played a full season on 20 teams last year. They’re good, they’re just blocked. John Moore is a solid player. All indications are that Krug returns. I get that nothing is certain until it’s signed, but all indications are that he’s returning.

The bruins do indeed have crazy depth on the back end. I think they’ve got 11 NHL D men in their organization, although one of them basically doesn’t have knees anymore.

joe thornton looks pretty decent in san jose... marleau looks okay for the role he was given. like these guys didnt just nose dive career wise. all im saying is you dont know whats happening in 2 years. bruins could easily still be contenders. they could also not be. pastrnak could miss the season with an injury, i mean everyone was saying how toronto was a cup favorite. they were trending to not even make the playoffs... like thats the beauty of the sport anything can happen.

Someone thinking you have a backup account, is not against the rules. If the admins make a new rule tomorrow stating this is against the rules, than I'll start enforcing it but until then......not gonna do anything. Calling someone a "moron" however is against the rules. Not sure you can really argue this as a point....... Why didn't they block you? Because they weren't the ones complaining about the other person here. You are. rolling eyes

This can't get any more simple. Report anything you feel is against the rules. Let the mods decide if that is actually against the rules or not. Block the user so you don't have to see their posts anymore. Finito, done. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Don't pity me, I'm not being dragged into anything and frankly you can be divorced from this "BS" also with a simple click. You are choosing not to and then complaining about why no one is doing anything about it. I've literally told you multiple times what to do. You just don't like that I'm not doing what you want me to do.

Lol cuz it was totally thornton and marleau who didnt play defense or keep the puck out the net. That team has had defensive and goaltending problems for years but obviously joe sucks and marleau sucks because it doesnt fit the narrative you are trying to portray.

It’s unbelievable that i keep seeing posts quoting him where he mentions me. I blocked the guy months ago I’m pretty sure. It was really obvious to me that he made a duplicate account, so i blocked both of them. It was a pretty simple procedure. Two clicks maybe.
