As a Red Wings fan, I don't think that would be enough to move up to 3. Stutzle is significantly better than whoever is left at 4 so Ottawa would have a high asking price. The Vancouver trade looks good for both teams. I don't think either team accepts the Nashville trade. Nashville is in win now and Turris can still contribute and Detroit would rather just wait 2 years instead of 4 years to free up cap.

Why spend all that just to move up 1 spot? Stutzle is a great prospect but nothing is guaranteed. Draft Drysdale at 4, build up the D, and keep it movin.

Your quotes are funky. Look at post 8 in this thread for example of what I’m talking about (HTML error when to close brackets).

So Detroit would flip Hronek + 2nd or Seider straight up for 3OV. Then Detroit would pick back to back (3 & 4).
