Zadorov is the ideal defenseman to ice against a team like Colorado, given that he's great at defending in transition, and can put fear into players who come through the neutral zone at speed (which is Colorado's game plan in a nutshell). Needless to say I don't envisage that Sakic will want to trade Zadorov there, especially since the teams are very likely to meet in the playoffs in the next few years, and Zadorov could be the difference in winning or losing that series.
That's even more pertinent given that Logan Stanley isn't even a unique type of prospect, so it's not like we would be short of alternatives elsewhere in the league.
Now, if Winnipeg really, really want Zadorov, then you'll have to overpay for him. And that probably entails Samberg, Chisholm + 2nd, or as part of a bigger trade involving sending Ehlers to Colorado or swapping 1st's
