The cap issues are what makes this deal valuable for Leafs, adding cap space and picks. Of course, Dubas great negotiating skills earned Muzzin a NMC, really a NMC?

Losing their most valuable defenseman for absolutely nothing is a good deal for the leafs? Who are they going to use that cap space on? The only defensemen available who are better then muzzin are peitrangelo who will cost way more and doesnt want to leave STL and Krug who isnt at all what they need and will also get in the 7 million dollar range.

Check out muzzins contract and not just year 1. A NMC in year one and NTC in 2/3 is fine when he's a good 2/3 defenseman. A modified ntc in his 4th year where he makes only 2 million dollars isnt hard to move at all. You have absolutely no idea what cap issues means bud. Cap issues is giving 10.5 million to a 31 year old league average goalie. The Canadians dont have a lot of cap space but at least expert negotiator Bergevin doesnt sign bad contracts like Alzner with a partial ntc. A partial NTC! Thank god Bergevin was able to negotiate his way out of a NMC so he would be able to send Alzner to the AHL instead of being a healthy scratch

Ok you convinced me keep Muzzin and replace him with your 2nd most valuable defeseman Rielly. As for Price, see NHLPA player survey for 2019-20 season there is an interesting option to see the NHLPA results from the last three years as you will read having an opinion does not make it fact. Alzner is a complete disaster. https://www.nhlpa.com/player-poll/2019-20

Ah yes because the players are always right. .909, .918 and .900 is truly dominant. Not to mention hes below average in GSAx and GSAA. When you look at the quality of shots hes facing hes not that good and the "clutch" factor people talk about hasn't shown up since maybe 2016. Hes overrated and on a horrible contract. If he goes on waivers today no one picks him up

You seem angry, Montreal has a terrible team with a great goalie. Where to start, our first line center is Danault... Back to Price, i've noticed that on many Olympic posts Price is the starter.

To think you have more knowledge of the game than 688 NHL players surveyed is just arrogant. It's a wonder with all this knowledge your not part of the game, the Shanaplan needs guys like you.
