Ristolainen is a defenseman I see going to a team who needs an offensively minded Dman. Calgary has no need of him as they got Gustafsson who can sign for much less
Carolina have no use for that trade as they will probs move Skeji or Gardiner and bring bean up.
Rangers may take that offer
As for Nashville they may take that, or try to dump turris on you guys

I think Cirelli would just sign with Tampa for something in the 5ish range instead
That’s basically the same amount bc of no FLA income tax
Gonna have to get into the 7mil range to have a shot at an offersheet imo

You’re pushing it with that 3rd pair
6 total NHL games between them
How about they start in Rochester, then serve as callups for this season so we aren’t throwing them right to the wolves?

U can slot Montour in there since u forgot him
And if all we are getting is a 3rd & 4th for McCabe,
then keep him and that’s a good 3rd pair right there

Don’t like the Risto trade

They just dealt a 1st for Skeji so I doubt he's being moved. Gardiner is trending into cap dump territory as without offensive numbers he's useless.
Good
Well we don't want Turris so it ain't happening.

I've had some Calgary people like Risto

Well we can't exactly go any higher than 6.2 or so based on the offersheet compensation.
McCabe was moved to get our 3rd back for the Offer sheet
Montour would end up as a casualty based on the cap space seeing as I doubt he signs for 2mil and I can't have him play on the left side.

- Flames part, i can kinda agree with that but since Kylington ia likely playing on the off hand for CGYs 3rd line next year I wouldnt be against a swap arond Bennett and Risto. (I like having at least 2 right handed RD). I trust Risto on the right sode of Gio a little .ore than Gus. However i wont pay 2 unconditional 2nds with Bennett

Literally took that from a few other AGMs and it was deemed realistic

How about a 2020 2nd and a 2022 4th? To go with Bennett that is

Maybe, Flames AGM (Chris Snow) hates Risto but i think he is a decent fit if not overpaid for.

its a gamble but Giordano is responsible defensively so it could work out. Or he could be pushed to his limit, who knows.

Yeah, it's not the first time I've seen it today, but it's just the Sabres fans approving of it. The general consensus among Preds fans on here seems to be that Bonino could fetch a 2nd+ at the deadline. Makes more sense for Nashville to trade one of their higher priced centers this summer, and hold onto Bonino. He meshes well with whoever they throw him on the ice with, and if Nashville is a playoff team next year they should keep him as an own-rental. If they're not, they can move him then, when a guy like him is at his highest value.

Then think you’ve gotta rework some things
Bc 6.2mil doesn’t get Cirelli most likely
If he’d sign for that, and Tampa wouldn’t match,
then I’m sure there’s a more desirable team than us that would offer him that deal as well

And that defense is just too young for my liking
Plus no upgrade of Hutton, which scares me
He costs us too many points when off his game

Love the Bonino idea if they’d actually move him
Edmundson is also an interesting idea, if he’d come here

I see it this way, Gus played on Keith's right aide and was fine so Risto would probably be good on Gios righr side, especially since CGYs defensive depth is better than Chicagos right now

🤮🤮🤮
You’re essentially trading Risto for a 2nd then,
Bc the 4th round pick is a lotto ticket & we don’t even need a 4th line Center (keep Larsson or play Asplund there)

I didn’t even like your original Risto trade idea
Hate this one

Let’s ADD to him if we have to & get a good player instead of depth & pieces that might develop into something years from now

Cant see a scenario where Canes move Gardiner or Skjei by the end of next season. IMO most likely scenario is Seattle taking Bean from Carolina
