I love how everyone thinks that Detroit is taking Cole Perfetti at # 4 just because Jimmy Devellano and Chris Osgood are part owner in the Saginaw Spirit. Yeah they scout him heavily just like they do with all of their potential picks. I'm not sold on the Perfetti to Detroit. Drysdale or Raymond is as much in play as Perfetti is.

As a Detroit fan I think they go with Rossi or Raymond. Rossi is a center something they really need and from what I’ve heard and read Perfetti is a winger that can play center. I’ve been watching Raymond highlights and game play a lot and the more I see the more I like him.



A while back in the mock section I was against Detroit drafting Raymond and you told me I should take another look at him. Now that I have I really like him and you were right. Thank you for that.

Not keen on that, Drysdale needs another 1-2 years of junior plus no guarantee's of Seider being up so that would leave us thin on RD. I'd rather move Hronek in a deal for Sergachev not Cirelli.

I would enjoy this..but Rakell for only two years even on a great contract would be a turnoff for me as a ranger fan...would the ducks add at all to compensate for lack of team control? or take on a Brendan Smith contract? A bit unfamiliar with the Ducks cap situation as I say that...

We obviously disagree violently on the elements of this trade. You clearly believe that 6th overall = 9th overall plus Georgiev and Rakell plus Larsson = De Angelo, whereas I think 6th overall = 9th overall plus De Angelo, and we can leave Rakell, Larsson and Georgiev out of this -- particularly since we have less need of Georgiev than the Rangers do.
