Yeah a #39 pick+#41 picks doesn't get you the #17 pick you'd need at least another 2nd or good prospect added to the mix.

Picking Guhle would be horrible. I’d rather stay at 39 & 40 and get a RHD or two there.

I agree we have too many top 4 LHD prospects already (Romanov, Norlinder, Stuble and Harris) especially with Chiarot, Mete and Kulak already on the roster! So we do not need another LHD prospect.



Gurgle is a great prospect but again not one we need and certainly not one we would move up for. Although if you were to trade the picks as above going after a guy like Lapierre or Halloway or if Zary or Gunler drop would be worth it. Lapierre makes the most sense though if you already have pick 1st or 9th and add a second mid pick as he has really high upside IF he can overcome his injury history.

Well this is assuming VAN makes playoffs, so the value of the pick isn't all that great (probably 15-20 range) they could make playoffs then get smacked by another team, so I would say it would be 16th or a 17th overall.

Still a deep draft, so I'm sure someone will drop... I would do it if you guys also threw in your 3d rounder considering we don't have a 3d this season.
