Well, before I went to Jeff Veilette, I asked this trade to a bunch of Penguins fans. You’d be surprised how many told me they wouldn’t do it cuz it was a bad trade for PIT.

that should tell you everything you need to know about them. when you break down your trade proposal its two ahl'ers, one of the worst defensemen in the nhl on a terrible contract and a 33 year old winger who will be lucky to put up 50 points next year much less the following two. in no way is a 23 year old 100+ point winger who is overpaid relative to market value by 1 million worth a 33 year old forward who probably wont get 50. The two ahlers dont cancel out Johnson's negative value but ill leave that out of this post in hopes that you will be able to absorb even the slightest bit of this information.

Go ask those penguins fans if Guentzel for Calle Rosen, Kenny Agostino, Cody Ceci and Alexander Kerfoot is fair. by their standards I should expect them all to say the leafs are giving up too much.

Yes you're right. A lot of these Pens fans are homers. It's crazy for anyone to think that it isn't a good trade for Pittsburgh.

Most of them said it wasn’t worth giving Hornqvist & his grin for Marner.
