Why should someone else decide what team you should cheer for?

Well I am not gonna tell you to cheer or watch them but I will suggest Leafs or Flames

Anything but the Bruins.
(hopefully this doesn't offend anyone)

If you are really searching for a team to cheer for. Take a team with some great prospects that will be on there way up soon

Cheer for the closest team geographically

I would suggest pens or avs, but i think you should watch each team play a couple games and see who you like

Honestly, just look up the jerseys/logos for the NHL teams and find 8-10 that you like. Start watching games of those teams and whichever team you enjoy the most, go with them.

I started following hockey when the Ducks came into the league. I feel very fortunate to have seen some amazing players play for them, have had the major downs during the multiple thrashings that occurred by way of the Red Wings dynasty during a handful of sad playoff finishes, the happiness of seeing them take New Jersey to 7 games in the finals, followed by the heartbreak of that moment, then to see Scotty Niedermeyer join his brother Rob in Anaheim, the major theft of Chris Pronger, and finally a Cup championship. Things don't look great today, but to have been able to follow since day 1 was a lot of fun.

I'm new so I don't really know much about any teams or fanbases. If I knew a team I wouldn't be asking.

Winnipeg has the nicest fan base I have ever seen. Their team also is good

All signs point to the team Tom Wilson is on. Just the greatest thing to come to hockey since ice.

Very true. Charlie Conway is portrayed as a true leader, but Banksy was a stud. Ooozing with talent. Quiet and collected. Basically Peewee hockey's version of Jonathan Toews

The closest neer where you live

Not just saying this cuz I'm a leafs fan but they're probably your best option. They have such a passionate fan base and they're the center of the hockey universe. They also have one of the most exciting and explosive offenses in the league with all their young and talented players. They have a bright future and lots of hope going forward

Nashville. They're an underdog team going into the playoffs. We have the best, die hard fans in sports, imo and they always give back to the community as most other teams do

Not trying to be a stalker or wierd but what state do you live in? You should cheer for which ever team plays in your state

Which big city do you live in or next to? For example Edmonton, Calgary, or Montreal, etc

Havent been in it, but it doesnt look half as bad as Winnipegs

Toronto. I've heard bad things though about there gm and there playoff success against the bruins. I wouldn't mind cheering for a team near toronto like the habs or something
