Tampa would very quickly decline. They are not moving their 2C for a prospect that might pan out 3 years from now while they are in win now mode. Anyone that thinks Cirelli is getting more than Point, regardless of term, doesn't know Tampa well at all. He'll end up bridging like all the rest around 4-4.5 for 3 years. He is a good player but hasn't yet put up the consistent numbers for some big 5 or 7 year deal. Unless he is dead set on wanting to leave a top 5 contender for a cellar dweller or fringe bubble team for a little more $, he's going nowhere. The #8 pick is never going to get him given where Tampa is positioned in their window. If Buffalo really wanted to make a serious offer to fix their 2C situation, Tampa starts to consider if Cozens or possibly Jokiharju is involved. Otherwise, Tampa has no reason to move him for magic beans or lesser players/prospects.
