For 5 x 5.5 Anthony Cirelli stays in Tampa, Chychrun is miles better then Montour you're not even remotely close on the Chychrun deal.

Cirelli is not getting 7 million. He had 44 points while playing in the top 6 last year. End of season Kucherov was riding with him.

he got almost 0 PP time, and was one of the best defensive forwards in the game... plus points aren't everything offensively, he had a 1.92 5v5 P/60, aheah of some small names like Nico Hischier, Sam Reinhart, JACK EICHEL, Blake Wheeler, Elias Lindholm, Brayden Schenn, Clayton Keller, Brady Tkachuk, Johnathan Marchessault, Logan Couture, Dylan Larkin, Johnny Gaudreau...

Tampa would very quickly decline. They are not moving their 2C for a prospect that might pan out 3 years from now while they are in win now mode. Anyone that thinks Cirelli is getting more than Point, regardless of term, doesn't know Tampa well at all. He'll end up bridging like all the rest around 4-4.5 for 3 years. He is a good player but hasn't yet put up the consistent numbers for some big 5 or 7 year deal. Unless he is dead set on wanting to leave a top 5 contender for a cellar dweller or fringe bubble team for a little more $, he's going nowhere. The #8 pick is never going to get him given where Tampa is positioned in their window. If Buffalo really wanted to make a serious offer to fix their 2C situation, Tampa starts to consider if Cozens or possibly Jokiharju is involved. Otherwise, Tampa has no reason to move him for magic beans or lesser players/prospects.

There is no way he is getting 7 million dollars. Especially with a flat cap. Point is not that much worse than Cirelli defensively, and a hell of a lot better than Cirelli offensively. He got 6.75. Cirelli is not going to sniff anything near Point's contract.

Delusional love affair on capfriendly with Cirelli.

Point also got 3 years on a contending team with a great GM and no state tax... oh and he got to live in Tampa vs BUF, and Cirelli is a hell of a lot closer to point offensively than you think

No he is not. You can tell by looking up their points. Crazy how stats can be so literal. Any team that signs Cirelli to 7 million dollars will regret it.

Points aren't the only useful stat, any team that pays Cirelli 7x5 will be getting one of the best contracts in the league by the the end of it
