I wouldn’t do marner trade from Edmonton side. I see that like hall likely not going to be as good of a fit with mcdavid as would think. Both players are best with puck on their stick until the league starts using two pucks I’d pass on marner to be honest. Nothing against him just adding a big salary that isn’t needed. For mcdavids wings I prefer the idea of JP highly skilled great skater had done well in very limited time with mcdavid. No where near the price tag but the upside could be as high. Larsson I don’t think gets nearly the love he deserves. Perhaps left over taste from loosing Hall but that’s not on him. Larsson should still be number 1 RD on this team. Him and russell get thrown around like garbage on this site but realistically this team would be sitting with buffalo waiting for next year without those two. League is getting faster but doesn’t mean isn’t a place for them they are among best in their crafts. AA I can respect giving him another chance but Im not as big on that with Neals contract on the books as well kinda taking a gamble that’s going to overlap resigning nuge yam and larsson. Giving Mcloed to Seattle to take neal is a big blow. Mcloed nearly made the team I’d definitely hold onto him as a bottom six C option in very near future. Like larsson and Russell this site is very hard on neal he’s among the best Pp specialists. Yes he’s pricy but retaining can resolve that also unlike most believe here there are a lot of teams that would be interested in a cost certainty pp specialists threw flat cap years. Panthers I think would jump on him for 1-1.5 retained to replace one of Hoffman or dadonov both cost more money more term.
