Nope. Domi doesn't get you Bjugstad + 1st, let alone Poulin as well.

Scary thing is I can see JR doing this since he wanted Domi in 2018 to replace Sheary. Now that Sheary's probably leaving in free agency wonder if JR pulls the trigger this time. You probably won't get Poulin and a 1st, its one or the other

Don't you think Zucker is that replacement player now though? Domi would definitely be in the top 6 rather than the 3C if traded for and I feel like its a lot to pay for the 6th man since they already have 5 locked in top 6 forwards

Poulin is good in the Q but still long shot for top 6, and his skating is bad. Good floor though.
Bjudstad is good 3C or 2RW but he has been injured all year and has an injury history.
Pens always trade their first AND its protected.
If they can afford Domi, which would involve moving a goalie too...and maybe another piece...they could run...

Good point but the main spot that's still open is is Sid and Guentzel's right wing. I don't know if Domi can play the right wing or not but they could move Zucker to the right side on the 1st line and have Domi play with Malkin and Rust. I think since Sid and Geno are getting older they need to be surrounded by the best talent possible if we want to keep the window open
