I am actually a Marner fan. It’s just, I’ve accepted that Toronto might move him this offseason for cap relief, so I decided to do a series looking at what teams could acquire him.

Ok that's great but like 90% of your trades are complete BS... like a few days ago you moved him for Ghule, Manson and BOS' 2020 1st... you can add Steel, Jones and a 2020 2nd AT LEAST for it to look even good

For that price, I would think Vancouver would do it the only thing that could hinder the trade is cap space. I also don't think you'd be able to move Myers and Roussel without adding picks. I'd also probably keep Virtanen over Pearson and have Macewen in the lineup instead of Maroon or Clifford

Leafs can't retain salary like that. We're still paying for the Kessel trade. We can maybe take one of their bad contracts, especially if there's a CBO.

Still, this is a slam dunk for Vancouver. Boeser seems to struggle with injuries. And Marner is a legit superstar - just overpaid. I think the Leafs can get a better deal if trading.

Pietrangelo at 10.9 would do more for Toronto than Marner at 10.9Sticking Out Tongue

But VAN declines. Boeser is just more valuable at his number. Especially with flat cap for 2 more years after this one

There’s no way you are a Marner fan. You treat him like he’s Worth a late first, when his value is really like a first overall. This trade need about 3 firsts added, at least. I’d rather just do Marner for Hughes.

You have to understand that in a flat cap world, teams are not gonna offer much to take on that contract. The Leafs do not have any options this offseason if they want to move Mitch, so they’re going to have to settle for a return like this.

This is total nonsense as not a chance Leafs want to move Marner this off season. You need to just admit you are extremely jealous of both Marner and the Leafs and are actually a Penguins fan.

Boesser at $6M. I think Marner’s a better player, it’s tough to build a cup winning roster with Marner at $9M without a lot of ELCs

This is total nonsense as not a chance Leafs want to move Marner this off season. You need to just admit you are extremely jealous of both Marner and the Leafs and are actually a Penguins fan.

Sounds about right. MMElite is really a pens fan, and Mitch Marner is staying a leaf.

Interesting take here. I’m not so sure, I’m gonna need some help on this one.

Who’d you guys rather have between Marner at 9 million & Boeser at 6?

Marner, because better players are worth more money

Nothing makes sense on your post as usual.
