The contract isnt much different than Jack Johnsons. Like 500k less and one less year. Nobody is going to give up anything for him. In theory, he is worth a 6th round pick. However no team will give you a 6th for him and that contract. There are many other better and cheaper options for a bottom pair LD.

Yes. We’ve been over this. You’re a kings fan that has likely an extremely small sample size of watching John Moore play hockey. I’m a bruins fan that has seen virtually every second he’s played in the last two years.

Moore got outplayed and was moved down. I remember some around the rime Moore was signed that they weren’t sure of Grzelcyk. And then Matt just took off. Perhaps also Sweeney wasn’t sure, at the time of Moore’s signing, when Chara was going to hang’em up. Moore isn’t horrible he just got moved down. It happens and its a good thing.

Were talking about something that only requires common sense. No team is paying for Moore(500k less, 1 less year than JJ contract) when there are better, cheaper options for a bottom pairing LD.
