Back to Reality:
Leafs are winning the play in round so 1 OA isn't an option
Murphy for Kap + with a little retention is a perfectly fine trade both teams can get behind
Not moving Johnsson unless I get full value - so top 6 LW him
I'll give Kerfoot another season now that the coach is set
I'll pay Clifford cause we do need his snarl and protection
Perry I just like as a leaf
Spezza is a given

I personally wouldn't approve this trade if I were Bowman, but I can at least understand it. The Hawks D is pretty bad. I'm not sure losing Murphy is in their best interest. I 100% can see the trade value though. KK is a good speedy winger which is what the Hawks need. Murphy is a 200' 2-way Dman that TOR needs. The cap retention is for the upgrade in a deep draft.

I like this. A lot. You’re going to get the typical sarcastic garbage about Kapenen’s value isn’t worth Murphy with retention, but this is one of the better posts I’ve seen. Sucks not having Liljegren up. And I don’t think Barabanov signed to be on the Marlies.

I would suggest Sandin has earned a spot. I actually didn’t notice you didn’t have him on the roster. Plus having to earn a spot doesn’t apply to Lehtonen?

That's a fair point , and yes it applies to Lehtonen
