I mean if you replaced OEL with Chychrun, added about 5 1sts and every prospect you have then maybe the Leafs consider

Edit: Oh wait its 1OA nevermind I'd think the Leafs would definitley consider the deal as is if it was Chychrun instead of OEL

I'd do Matthews for the 1st overall pick straight up. Then we get over 10M dollars in cap space.

I absolutely deplore when people say **** like this. The entire point of cap space is so we can use it on a player like Matthews. Cap space is a means to an end, not an end in itself.

Lafreniere is an absolute beast. I'm not saying trade Matthews for nothing to get cap space...

This isn't a 50/50 prospect we're talking about. There's a 90% he becomes a top 50 player in the league.

You are out of your mind. Matthews is worth every penny. This whole concept is garbage. It only serves to significantly shorten TO's window of contention.
