Blues decline for the Toronto trade Parayko is untouchable, Buffalo declines Allen could fetch a third at best. Detroit doesn’t have a need for Bortuzzo but he gets a 4th-5th round pick.

Leafs cant pay their cap hit. They're going to have to move one of the $3 mil cap hit forwards as is just to make everything work this summer. Add on the $9.5 mil from these 2 and you are talking about not only trading Kapanen, Johnsson and Kerfoot but another significant cap hit with them. Be it one of the lefties who are getting paid in Rielly or Muzzin, or Freddy in net or one of the big paychecks up front.

No way, they can move Bozak elsewhere for cheap enough. I'll do an ACGM with it.

I would rather see the Blues move so many other players before Parayko if the goal is to open up cap space. Basically anyone except Dunn, Thomas, ROR, or Tarasenko. If the choice is between Parayko and Pietrangelo, I'm taking Parayko - considering the contracts/age/etc.
