IMO these are both pretty bad. AJ is the purest definition of a cap dump. He played 76% of his game with Matthews last year and 50% the year before that. His production away from Matthews is pretty terrible. There was zero reason he deserved that $3.4M contract. Any acquiring team should expect a decrease in production.

Hawks aren't interested in kerfoot either. He'd be their #4C....at best.

For one second take out Zachas draft #!
Now, zajac is our version of Bergeron (as close as we can be). He keeps all the superstars from lighting it up against us, great PKer. He is going into the final yr of his contract. Zacha imo falls right into that role, once TZ is gone.
To give up a pick also for AJ (who I think is very injury prone with a bum wheel now) is no where near it.
You guys want to include Bracco in every trade, shocker!

Firstly... I have never included Bracco in a trade. He has zero value.

Secondly... I believe my exact words were... "Maybe NJ accepts".

I do not claim to know what the Devils are thinking. I do know that you are in that same boat.

Maybe they do? Maybe they don't. It really doesn't matter. Personally... I have no interest in acquiring Zacha or where he was drafted.

Let's just say I think it is highly unlikely that either team would have interest in a trade like this. I see no long term benefit to either side really.

Zacha is one of the worst even strength defenders in the league. even if he's as good as people pretend he is on the PK, he is genuinly putrid at evens. He is not good and to compare him to bergeron even remotely is so insulting to bergeron.
