Honestly at this point with Louie I dont see his contract being tradeable, he obviously has been shopped around but cant see it going anywhere. The guy has made a boatload of money during his career so I dont see him needing to grind out a couple years while taking the extreme amount of heat he will take to hold the team hostage with his cap space. Louie can also still play in the league and will get a contract elsewhere to earn some of this money back.

Detroit gets better adding these two players to their group. With having Three 2nd round picks this year they spend one for immediate help to make the team better. Canucks may need to add on this but I think its fairly close value. Stecher is a serviceable Dman who can run your 2nd PP, Rousell is a workhorse who leads by example and gets under the opponents skin with determination. Solid two way player with an underrated offensive game.
