Sens moving up doesn't make sense. They're in a great position at 3rd to draft the 1C they desperately need. It would have been nice to get the 1st overall pick, but they don't need Lafreniere badly enough to make this move. Getting Stutzle/Byfield is arguably better for them.

I've read many places that Stutzle is projecting more as a winger.. if i'm remembering correctly, that's the position he played in DEL even though he played center at World Juniors.
Honestly think Byfield may fall to 3 with LA having Kopitar + Villardi + Turcotte

He did play wing for the most part, but I think he will play C at the NHL level. TSN 1200 in Ottawa had one of Manheim's pro scouts on a few months ago, and he was pretty adamant that he would be a centre long term. It's not uncommon for young Cs to start their pro careers on the wing.

I think it will depend partly on where he ends up. LA is pretty loaded with Cs, so he might be a winger there, but Ottawa needs a 1C badly, so I think he plays C if he comes here.

My preference would be that LA takes Stutzle, and Ottawa snags Byfield.

Rangers win the first overall pick and trade it for anything short of McDavid and the fans will burn MSG to the ground, and the NYPD and NYFD will let them.
