RONDE 1ÉQUIPEORIGINALJOUEURDéTAILS
Logo de Canadiens de Montréal-Doesn't matter who wins, this is the pick
Logo de Kings de Los Angeles-LA takes the more versatile player with Turcotte, Vilardi in the pipeline at C
Logo de Sénateurs d'OttawaLogo de Sharks de San Josethe lotto did not go their way, but 3 and 5 in this draft is very nice, i would also rather have #3 pick here and not be the one. to choose between Byfield/Stutzle
Logo de Red Wings de Detroit-This is where it gets interesting, if Detroit values next year's defense class more than Drysdale then they take a forward here. I have it being Right Shot winger Lucas Raymond, 11/12 Forwards are LH, they hope they find their Mitch Marner
Logo de Sénateurs d'Ottawa-Ottawa comes out of the top 5 with a future 1C and a future top 2 RHD, they have a lot of depth in their system at RD but they are coveted assets
Logo de Ducks d'Anaheim-Anaheim hopes Drysdale falls to them but they take BPA at 6 and add to a deep F prospect pool
Logo de Devils du New Jersey-Elite hockey sense and can put the puck in the net, if he moves to the wing he will be nice next to Hughes
Logo de Sabres de Buffalo-Buffalo takes possibly the most NHL ready player in the draft (aside from Lafreniere) and their hopeful 2C (i see Cozens as a Winger), really high floor for Lundell (Philip Danault?) not sure where his ceiling is though
Logo de Blackhawks de Chicago-Hawks grab a pure goal scorer with 30+ goal upside and should be a consistent 20 goal scorer at worst
Logo de Devils du New JerseyLogo de Coyotes de l'ArizonaBlackwood is good, but Askarov has too much potential to pass up. In the new NHL Blackwood would still play 25+ games a season anyways
Logo de Wild du Minnesota-Minnesota has some prospect depth at F but not much on D (especially with the Brodin rumours), Sanderson at 11 is great value with how much he has skyrocketed up the rankings
Logo de Canucks de Vancouver-Vancouver grabs a goal scorer with a more complete game, Quinn/Podkolzin/Hoglander will be great additions to this team
Logo de Predators de Nashville-a team that lacks offense adds a great playmaker who also scored 42 goals this season
Logo de Panthers de la Floride-i think they can trade back and make this pick but they need to take a defenseman, Schneider is mean and hard to play against
Logo de Flames de Calgary-Calgary adds an in your face #2C which they really lack
Logo de Rangers de New York-Rangers system is kind of thin up front, Zary/Chytil would be a good 2/3C combo
Logo de Jets de Winnipeg-he should be able to provide scoring in a 2C role
Logo de Sénateurs d'OttawaLogo de Islanders de New YorkOttawa should gamble on Lapierre with this pick, if he can stay healthy they essentially have 3 top 10 picks
Logo de Blue Jackets de Columbus-CBJ would like a center, but Amirov can score
Logo de Hurricanes de la CarolineLogo de Maple Leafs de TorontoCarolina has some serious potential, Mercer adds a lot of energy to a lineup with some scoring ability
Logo de Rangers de New YorkLogo de Hurricanes de la Carolineshowed really well at the WJC, will provide versatility and depth scoring
Logo de Stars de Dallas-a 2nd line goal scorer who projects as a winger, will look nice with a playmaking C
Logo de Oilers d'Edmonton-EDM could gamble with this pick, Gunler's goal scoring ability with the playmaking of Mcdavid and Draisitl is very intriguing
Logo de Golden Knights de Vegas-Steady player, blood clots ruined his year or else he is probably a top 15 pick, similar to their Krebs pick last year
Logo de Wild du MinnesotaLogo de Penguins de PittsburghCraig Button sees Darnell Nurse as a comparison, could form a mean pairing with Dumba
Logo de Flyers de Philadelphie-Philly has a deep prospect pool all around, they take a high risk high reward player
Logo de Capitals de Washington-McMichael was a steal last year, WSH takes another explosive scorer
Logo de Sharks de San JoseLogo de Lightning de Tampa Baythe 3rd German to go in round 1, ranked higher than this on Bob's list, Reichel is a nice player for SJS
Logo de Avalanche du Colorado-Can be a big steady partner for Byram or Girard
Logo de Blues de St-Louis-Not a great skater but he plays a very heavy game and would fit nicely with the Blues
Logo de Ducks d'AnaheimLogo de Bruins de BostonBig smooth skating dman, would allow them to eventually trade Fowler
RONDE 2ÉQUIPEORIGINALJOUEURDéTAILS
Logo de Red Wings de Detroit-i feel is the BPA here
Logo de Sénateurs d'Ottawa-pretty steady defender to go with their skilled ones, plays with some nastiness
Logo de Sharks de San Jose-Another good get for SJS
Logo de Kings de Los Angeles-Their forward prospects are stacked, they begin to work on the dcore
Logo de Ducks d'Anaheim-offensive minded dman, ANA is weak on the right side
Logo de Predators de NashvilleLogo de Devils du New JerseyBPA here imo
Logo de Sabres de Buffalo-BUF keeps adding to their C depth
Logo de Canadiens de Montréal-strong forward that is a good skater, may not play an offensive role with MTL but will be effective
Logo de Canadiens de MontréalLogo de Blackhawks de Chicagoblazing speed, should be their next Paul Byron at worst
Logo de Coyotes de l'Arizona-Choix au repêchage retiréARZ has some top end talent, Bordeleau adds to their depth
Logo de Wild du Minnesota-Should be a good depth player that can contribute for Minny down the road
Logo de Kings de Los AngelesLogo de Canucks de Vancouverbig body that will defend well
Logo de Predators de Nashville-not a great defender but high offensive upside here
Logo de Panthers de la Floride-another steady defender for florida
Logo de Flames de Calgary-another big body forward for CGY to create some noise
Logo de Hurricanes de la CarolineLogo de Rangers de New YorkCAR takes a project player in Jack Finley
Logo de Jets de Winnipeg-i think Andrae is good value in the mid 2nd round
Logo de Sénateurs d'OttawaLogo de Islanders de New Yorkbig body with soft hands in front of the net
Logo de Sénateurs d'OttawaLogo de Blue Jackets de Columbusenergy player (OTT should package these picks and move up)
Logo de Maple Leafs de Toronto-leafs depth is pretty thin on the right side

I have never understood how people see Lapierre as a top 10 talent in this draft. Even putting aside his injuries, I don't think he's even close to that level. I hope Ottawa stays away from him in the 1st round.

Don’t understand this for the Habs outside of one obviously. Your a Habs fan,
We add two small players and a not great lhd. We need size and goal scorers. Foudy might be a fine pick if you add Perrault or foerster for some goals and at least torgersson or cuylle for size. And I’d take villeneuve. Good, smart rhd

well in this draft Perrault and Foerster aren't available lmao, Smilanic is 6'1 175 and has room to fill out his frame, Button said he can play a strong physical game. Sure we can take Torgersson instead of Foudy, Sebrango is a filler pick as it states in the description and unfortunately Villeneuve was taken before our 60th pick.

I'm aware. I just don't see why. I think people put way too much stock into his Hlinka performance. He was good in his D -1 year but not really anything special.

I know foerster and Perrault aren’t, my point is that to me foudy is useless to the Habs unless you get a sniper like those two or Quinn/holtz. As for Tyler, maybe he can fill out but at this age gaining 30 pounds is almost not an option. From what I’ve seen and u said button said a strong physical game Is fine for a minor hockey player but good luck pushing guys around at 170/180 and even if he gets to 190 which I’d guess not. Cuylle is an nhl ready body(not skill yet) who can crush people and protect/help our small forwards like caufield. As for villeneuve I’d take him with pick 40. I’d take my chances that one of torgersson and cuylle is still available at 61. At the end of the day we need to take some swings. Those 3 are all very high risk and oddly enough probably low reward, maybe medium
Goals and size is the main priority
